Hotel Ambassador - Bern

Nice place with amenities like free parking, 24-hour reception, and a fitness center. I fondly remember how staff helped me with my suitcases during my first stay. Highly recommended for comfort!

Excellent price/quality ratio, proximity to the centre of Bern, small but very enjoyable spa.

Smooth check-in, exceptionally clean rooms with a giant window and extra bed, for instance. Good and absolutely perfect location right across from the tram, European style building.

the parking was ok, even if that had it's negative axpects (very very narrow, but that seems to be a problem of the majour part of the parking garage in Switzerland...) so that may not be fault of the hotel. The hotel is near a tram stop that takes you to the city center within a fair time.

The personnel in charge of the breakfast buffet was unfriendly and unprofessional, rude and totally spoiled our staying. When we arrived at breakfast, welcomed or rather unwelcomed by the staff, most of the buffet had already been eaten up and they started using the vacuum cleaner while we were still eating altough it still was breakfast time. Breakfast is, in our opinion, also highly overpriced. On top of it all the staff spoke to us in a offensive an racist manner.

I have stayed in the family room with a mini fridge bar, climate control and a personal safe...

Newly renovated room with incredible views of the mountains and great decor. A lot of options for breakfast in the restaurant.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is excellent for those who don't want to be in the city but have quick access to the city. The Hotel is a 7 minute tram ride from the city center; very simple. The room (suite) was comfortable. The Spa was okay when not too crowded (i.e. when three people 4 people are using it)

The hotel and the restaurants are way overpriced. The room doors have a funny locking system. It was also unfortunate that the hotel did not offer free public transport during our stay as they do in Geneva. That would have been a great plus. The Spa was also smaller than expected; particularly the gym which for anyone who likes to work out while they travel is a huge disappointment (Huge!!).

The rooms were very small, the spa was a huge disappointment and the restaurants were poor. Not that much that can be done, except setting the right expectations. For me this was not a spa with good restaurants...

Good location with easy access to public transport, very near to the river walking & biking side. Rooms were comfortable, bathroom was clean with good view to the city.

the bed and comforter were comfortable, the coffee and refrigerator in the room were nice, good view.

The air conditioning in the room was broken, so the reception moved me to a smaller room, with no apology given. The staff in the morning check out were unfriendly and unhelpful.

It was clean with exceptional and welcoming staff at the reception desk. The hotel was in an unbeatable location, easy to reach by tram-direct connection from the main train station.

Its breakfast should 've been was n't included in the rate.

One Reception staff member tried to overcharge when paying bill. She was very unprofessional. Left bad taste in mouth when leaving.

The room was huge,well-designed and cosy.A marvelous all-round view from the window.Big swimming-pool,good sauna,nice bar.Welcoming staff.

I was disappointed with the staff's attitude . The front desk was not cute. The pool was too cold to use, a big letdown since I was looking forward to it.

i like the decoration of the room and the bathroom is relatively clean. Breakfast is delicious and more various than other hotels which are in similar price.
